COMMUNAL

Playing in the neighborhood

Having a communal playgroup promoted by the Spanish Education and Development Foundation is vital to offering boys and girls a safe and accessible space that enhances their comprehensive development. Communal playgroups become a key resource to promote free play and learning through recreational activities such as crafts, drawing, needlework, cinema, theater, etc., which stimulate creativity, social skills and respect for others. Furthermore, these spaces promote social inclusion, since they allow the interaction of children of different backgrounds and ages, promoting coexistence and equal opportunities. By involving families and the community in the maintenance and care of the playgroup, community ties and the sense of belonging are reinforced, helping to create a collaborative and enriching environment that benefits both the children and the entire community.

Playing in the neighborhood is an intergenerational proposal in playgroups, it is an excellent way to connect children, young people, adults and seniors, promoting the exchange of experiences and mutual learning. These activities help strengthen family and community ties, promoting values such as respect and cooperation. Additionally, by sharing traditional and new games, each generation enriches their understanding and skills, creating an inclusive and fun environment for all. This approach strengthens the sense of community and contributes to the emotional well-being of participants.

Our Education and Development Foundation invites you to promote play spaces in communal spaces every weekend. We invite the boards of directors of the communities to create a playgroup, a space where play becomes a tool for the comprehensive development of children. In the playgroup, we will promote creativity and emotional well-being, strengthening autonomy and social relationships. Let's make together that the communal houses have this space!

Playing in the neighborhood
