Why is it important to address this topic?

Knowing about the right and importance of play in childhood is essential because play is an essential activity for the comprehensive development of boys and girls. Through play, children develop physical, emotional, cognitive and social skills. Additionally, play is recognized as a fundamental right in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, highlighting its role in promoting child well-being. We will reflect on the rights and privileges that our children have and the importance of their participation in programs, projects and activities that are designed for them.  

General Objective

Promote the recognition of play as a fundamental right of childhood, ensuring its inclusion in educational, family and community spaces, as a key tool for the comprehensive development of boys and girls.

Specific Objectives

1.   Train educators and caregivers in the use of games as an effective pedagogical tool to enhance learning and creativity.

2. Develop programs and activities that promote the inclusion and participation of all children in play, regardless of their abilities or socioeconomic background.

3. Raise awareness among educators, volunteers and communities about the importance of play in the emotional, cognitive, social and physical development of children.

This training day is carried out for the network of play groups in Peru, Mexico, Chile and Argentina.  Therefore, we must review the schedules of each church, also, taking into account how we should participate. Remind you that at the end of the sessions you will be provided with a certificate of participation.
